Mr. Calvin Baker

Mr. Baker is the 8th Grade Counselor, for students whose last names begin with M – Z, at Stevenson Middle School. Guidance, Preventative and Intervention Counseling, and Scheduling services for students are his primary services. He does individual and group counseling, parent conferences and coordinates with Community Based Organizations (CBO) such as L. A. Bridges to better service students, parents and the community at large. He has a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, a Masters in Mathematics, a Masters in Chemistry, an ABD in Chemistry, a Masters in Education School Counseling and is presently pursuing cultural and literary studies related to Sanskrit and Pali. Additionally, he has educational credentials in secondary teaching of mathematics, counseling (PPS), attendance (PSA) and administration (Preliminary). He also serves the community by teaching classes at the community college level.
