Pitcher Ricky Romero, who had an excellent rookie season in the Blue Jays’ starting rotation, visited his alma mater, Stevenson Middle School in East Los Angeles yesterday, addressing more than 1,200 students about physical fitness, California Fitness testing, striving for dreams and academic achievement. |

Fit for Life with the Los Angeles Lakers!
Our school has entered this Lakers Contest to win a spot for 15 students and 2 faculty members to attend the first annual Fit for Life Health Fair Event in the Spring 2010.
The school with the most points will receive a $2,500 sports equipment gift certificate to be presented at halftime of a Lakers regular season game. |
